PUBLIC DISPLAY EXERCISE ON EIA REPORT OF THE PROPOSED SOLAR HYBRID PROJECT IN FUHSI, OSUN STATE AND FUNATO, OYO STATE BY RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY (REA).
In accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Act CAP E12 LFN 2004, which makes it mandatory for proponents of all new major developmental activities to carry out EIA for their proposed projects, the Federal Ministry of Environment hereby announces twenty–one (21) working days public display for the draft ESIA report submitted by Rural Electrification Agency (REA).

ESIA for Solar Hybrid Project at Fed University Okeho
The proposed project entails the installation of polycrystalline photovoltaic solar panel arrays, lithium-ion batteries and ancillary components such as MPPT inverters and step-up transformers, switchgear, substation, transmission line, to generate the rated power of 1200kWac for a peak power of 1,000kWdc within the Federal University of Health Sciences Ila (FUHSI), Osun State and the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology Okeho (FUNATO), Oyo State.
