In accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Act Cap E12 LFN 2004, which makes it mandatory for proponents of all new major development activities to carry out Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of their proposed projects, the Federal Ministry of Environment hereby announces a twenty–one (21) working days public disclosure for information and comments on the Safeguards Documents submitted by the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project.
The Disclosure Centers Are:
- 36 State’s Ministries of Environment, State Secretariat across Nigeria;
- Abuja Environmental Protection Agency, CBD, Abuja;
- Federal Ministry of Environment Offices, Zonal Offices across 36 States of Nigeria;
- Federal Ministry of Environment, Environment House (Brown Building), Independence Way, Central Business District, Abuja-FCT.

Project Description:
The Rural Access Agricultural Marketing Project Scale-Up shall focus on connecting rural communities to local agricultural markets such as roadside agro-logistics hubs, social amenities such as schools and hospitals, introduce green rural transport as well as promote social cohesion at rural level across the 36 States of Nigeria and Federal Capital Territory.
