PUBLIC DISPLAY EXERCISE ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (EIA) OF THE PROPOSED DUALIZATION AND REHABILITATION OF RUMOLA JUNCTION FLYOVER, CONSTRUCTION OF FLYOVER AT G.R.A JUNCTION AND DUALIZATION OF TOMBIA EXTENSION AND EZIMGBU ROAD IN OBIO/AKPOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA, RIVERS STATE BY RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT
In accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Act CAP E12 LFN 2004, which makes it mandatory for proponents of all new major development activities to carry out Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of their proposed projects, the Federal Ministry of Environment hereby announces twenty–one (21) working days Public Notice for information and comments on the Draft EIA report submitted by Rivers State Government.

Brief Project Description:
The proposed project shall entail the dualization and rehabilitation of the flyover at Rumuola Junction, construction of a new flyover at G.R.A Junction, dualization of the Tombia Extension (1.63km x (7.3m +7.3m)) and Ezimgbu Road (1km x (7.3m + 7.3m)) in Port Harcourt City, Rivers State.
