PUBLIC DISPLAY EXERCISE ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (EIA) FOR THE PROPOSED CNG MOTHER/DAUGHTER STATION AT WARRI NEST OIL JBL YARD, NPA EXPRESSWAY, WARRI NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA, DELTA STATE BY CENTURY POWER GENERATION LIMITED.

In accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Act CAP E12 LFN 2004, which makes it mandatory for proponents of all new major developmental activities to carry out EIA for their proposed projects, the Federal Ministry of Environment hereby announces twenty–one (21) working days public display for the draft EMP report submitted by Century Power Generation Limited.

The proposed project will entail the construction, installation, commissioning, and operation of a CNG processing and distribution facility with an estimated capacity of 3 Million Standard Cubic Feet per Day (MMSCFD) at Nest Oil JBL Yard, NPA Express Way, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State. The facility will receive natural gas through the Escravos–Lagos Pipeline System, compressed the gas to approximately 250 bar(g), and convert it into Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for transportation and supply to designated off-takers through specialized CNG tube trailers.
