PUBLIC DISPLAY EXERCISE ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL MANAGEMENT PLAN (ESMP) FOR THE PROPOSED MINI/ 500MT LPG BLENDING PLANT IBUSA, OSHIMILI NORTH, DELTA STATE BY RAINOIL LIMITED.

In accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Act CAP E12 LFN 2004, which makes it mandatory for proponents of all new major developmental activities to carry out EIA for their proposed projects, the Federal Ministry of Environment hereby announces twenty–one (21) working days public display for information and comments on the draft ESMP report submitted by Rainoil Limited.

ESMP FOR THE PROPOSED MINI LNG BLENDING PLANT, DELTA STATE, NIGERIA

The proposed project shall involve the construction, commissioning, and operation of a modern inland Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) storage, blending, and distribution depot with a total LPG storage capacity of 500 metric tonnes (MT) and an integrated 25 MT cylinder refilling plant on a total land area of 11277.650 square metres at Idumuob-Ogalawa Etiti, Ogbeowele Quarters, Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area, Delta State. The facility is designed to receive LPG via road tankers operating under a virtual pipeline system from coastal terminals, gas processing plants and primary storage depots.
