PUBLIC DISPLAY EXERCISE ON EIA REPORT OF THE PROPOSED SOLAR POWERED RENEWABLE ENERGY SOLUTIONS IN FUAB, BAYELSA STATE AND FUMHSK, DELTA STATE UNDER THE NEP (DESERT TO POWER) BY RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY (REA).
In accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Act CAP E12 LFN 2004, which makes it mandatory for proponents of all new major developmental activities to carry out EIA for their proposed projects, the Federal Ministry of Environment hereby announces twenty–one (21) working days public display for the draft ESIA report submitted by Rural Electrification Agency (REA).

FUMHSK DELTA STATE Solar Hybrid ESIA
The proposed development entails the construction and installation of a ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant integrated with a lithium-ion battery energy storage system to ensure power reliability and load balancing located within the institutional boundaries of the Federal University of Agriculture, Bassim Biri, Nembe Local Government Area, Bayelsa State and Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale (FUMHSK) Delta State. The system will include PV Modules, Inverters, Transformers, Battery Banks, Mounting structures, Internal Distribution Networks, and Balance-of-system components necessary for efficient power generation and evacuation.
