In accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Act CAP E12 LFN 2004, which makes it mandatory for proponents of all new major developmental activities to carry out EIA for their proposed projects, the Federal Ministry of Environment hereby announces twenty–one (21) working days public display for the draft EMP report submitted by Geofteda Ventures Nigeria Limited CLICK TO DOWNLOAD REPORT JRB OIL & GAS LIMITED MPAPE PET. Brief Project Description: The proposed project entails the development, construction, and operation of a 315,000-litre capacity petrol filling station at Plot No. 186, Cadastral Zone F04, Mpape District within the Abuja. The project is designed to provide retail storage and dispensing services for petroleum products to meet the increasing demand for fuel within the Mpape and surrounding communities
In line with the EIA Procedural guidelines, the Ministry conducted site verification exercise on the proposed project location and upon the completion of the EIA study, the proponent submitted to the Ministry a copy of draft EIA report via a letter dated 8th June, 2026.
