Display of the EIA for FIX 103FM ENUGU

FEDERAL MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT

PUBLIC DISPLAY EXERCISE FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PLAN (EMP) OF THE PROPOSED FIX 103.3 FM RADIO STATION MAST INSTALLATION LOCATED AT 3A CATHEDRAL AVENUE, INDEPENDENCE LAYOUT, ENUGU STATE BY FIX 103.3FM.

In accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Act CAP E12 LFN 2004, which makes it mandatory for proponents of all new major developmental activities to carry out EIA for their proposed projects, the Federal Ministry of Environment hereby announces twenty–one (21) working days public display for the draft EMP report submitted by FIX 103.3FM.           DOWNLOAD FIX 103FM EIA REPORT

Brief Project Description: The proposed project shall entail the construction of a mast for an FM Radio station  on  approximately 700M²   of  land  located at 3A, Cathedral Avenue, Independence Layout, Enugu North Local Government Area in Enugu State, to further improve the quality of broadcasting service to the people across the city as well  as  the State.         DOWNLOAD FIX 103FM EIA REPORT

The Display Centers are:

1. i) Enugu North Local Government Area Headquarters, Enugu, Enugu State;
2. ii) Enugu State Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change, Enugu;
3. iii) Federal Ministry of Environment, Enugu Field Office, Enugu State;

1. iv) Federal Ministry of Environment, Environmental Assessment Department (Environment House), Independence Way South, Central Business District, Abuja – FCT; and
