PUBLIC DISPLAY ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (EIA) FOR PROPOSED SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE LEKKI TEXTILE AND GARMENT PARK, LEKKI, LAGOS STATE BY NIGERIA EXPORT PROCESSING ZONE AUTHORITY.
In accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Act CAP E12 LFN 2004, which makes it mandatory for proponents of all new major development activities to carry out Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of their proposed projects, the Federal Ministry of Environment hereby announces twenty–one (21) working days Public Display for the draft EIA report submitted by Nigeria Export Processing Zone Authority. This Display is to enable the public to make inputs that shall facilitate informed decisions on the project EIA by the Ministry.

Brief Project Description:
The proposed Textile and Garment Industrial Park project entails the first phase development of a Garments and Textile Factory as well as other Infrastructural facilities such as Electric Power, Telecommunication services, Access Roads, Land and Marine access etc. on a landtake of 150Ha within Lekki Free Trade Zone (LFTZ) accessed through Yegunda earth road off Lagos – Epe Expressway Epe Local Government Area, Lagos State.
