PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (ESIA) PROPOSED LAGOS 7TH AXIAL ROAD (LEKKI PORT ACCESS ROAD LOT 1 & 2) PROJECT
The 7th Axial Road is planned as a continuous 24.932 km dual carriageway, divided into two sections:
- Lot 1: 8.7 km, beginning at Idasho near the Lekki Deep Sea Port and terminating after crossing the Lekki Lagoon.
- Lot 2: 16.232 km, extending from the Lagoon to Epe, where it connects with the Epe–Ijebu Road. This section includes major structures such as flyovers and interchange bridges, designed to integrate the corridor into the wider regional highway network.
Together, Lot 1 and Lot 2 form a unified transport corridor, strategically linking the Lekki Deep Sea Port to regional and national highways, thereby supporting trade, logistics, and industrial growth in Lagos and Ogun States
