Environmental Compliance Monitoring Exercise

Environmental Compliance Exercises (ECM) are conducted anually on facilities that have attained the EIA closed-out status as well as on facilities with valid Environmental Audit (EAu) approval.

The objectives of this exercise include but not limited to ensuring that the conditions of the EIA close-outs as well as the EAu are carried out including the implementation of the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) to sustain the continuous improvement of environmental performance of the facility.

The ECM exercise is designed to allow for feedbacks from the Federal Ministry of Environment after each exercise which the facilities are expected to implement.
